Please support the first, ever, Community Campaign RACE for Barrio Dogs in 2021. Barrio Dogs is an education-focused nonprofit created to address the issues of pet homelessness and overpopulation. Barrio Dogs began a decade ago, for the well-being of our neighbors and four-legged family members. We educate and empower Houston's East End neighbors to transform their community by hosting educational presentations for children; organizing free spay/neuter, vaccination, and microchipping events.
Our goal in 2021 is to make sure that EVERY single pet in need will receive free spay/neuter, vaccinations and a microchip. In addition, due to COVID many pet owners have struggled without basic pet essentials like pet food, collars, leashes and bedding. With your support we can create a better future for our animals and our community.

There is no fundraising minimum to participate, and we encourage you to set a high goal, at least $1,000. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain. Run Houston! For a Cause awards the following additional donations to the nonprofits of the highest athlete fundraisers.
