Today's Harbor for Children is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit residential community licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. The Harbor provides underserved, neglected and abused children from 5-18 years of age, with shelter, food, clothing, education, counseling, health care, recreation and primarily, a stable family environment in which they can heal and focus on a future for themselves.
Children placed at Today's Harbor for Children often come to us with broken lives and no vision for a future as their daily struggles and needs were so primitive for basic survival. At the Harbor they no longer worry about their next meal, health care or violence and abuse in their day. They live in one of our eight homes with other children and house parents who ensure that they regain their hope, find their dreams and attend the Harbor Academy charter school located right on the Today's Harbor for Children campus.
