Lucky Dog Rescue

Lucky Dog ia a 501(c)3 tax exempt non profit animal welfare organization dedicated to providing rescue services, vet care, foster care and adoptive placement to stray and abandoned dogs. A great match for each pet and adoptive family is important to us.  Our goal is to find permanent, loving homes for the pets in our care via foster homes. Lucky Dog Rescue focuses our rescue efforts on dogs from the streets of Houston and from BARC (the City of Houston Animal Shelter). We are always in dire need of fosters! Fosters save lives!

There is no fundraising minimum to participate, and we encourage you to set a high goal, at least $1,000. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain. Bridgeway Run Houston For a Cause awards the following additional donations to the nonprofits of the highest athlete fundraisers.

$2,500 in additional prize donations to win

  • 1st place athlete fundraiser wins $800 for his/her cause
  • 2nd place athlete fundraiser wins $500 for his/her cause
  • 3rd place athlete fundraiser wins $300 for his/her cause
  • 4th place athlete fundraiser wins $225 for his/her cause
  • 5th place athlete fundraisers wins $175 for his/her cause
  • 6th place athlete fundraisers wins $150 for his/her cause
  • 7th place athlete fundraisers wins $125 for his/her cause
  • 8th place athlete fundraisers wins $100 for his/her cause
  • 9th place athlete fundraisers wins $75 for his/her cause   
  • 10th place athlete fundraisers wins $50 for his/her cause
