We believe that health influences children's success and that good health is more effectively achieved through family and community involvement.
This cooking contest is a fun way to raise money for a great cause. My retired sister-in-law goes to Guatemala every year with the nonprofit Shared Beat. Their mission is to improve the lives of improvished children of Guatemala through their health and wellness clinics, their prevention programs and their scholarships to local students to pursue careers in the health field. Their work is making a difference in the lives of these children every day. Please help by putting your money where your mouth is and vote for my recipe. Thanks so much!
Lemon Ice Cream
1 quart Half & Half
3/4 quart milk
juice of 8 lemons
4 cups sugar
mix together and pour into ice cream freezer and freeze
sprinkle with zest of one lemon
