The Landing is a daytime drop-in center where survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation can experience an atmosphere of acceptance and be introduced to social support. Located on a nationally known hotspot for sex trafficking and prostitution in Houston, The Landing team assists survivors by meeting basic needs and sharing resources. Our intention is to meet people where they are—wherever that may be—and support them throughout their journey.
I like to be able to help others especially women and girls who are victims of human trafficking. The Landing organization is wonderful.
The Landing mission is to serve survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation with a trauma-informed approach fueled by the love of Christ.
The Landing exists as a daytime drop-in center at the intersections of life—a place of comfort and rest for all-aged male, female, and transgender victims of human trafficking or sexual exploitation. The Landing encourage and empower survivors to become independent by meeting basic needs and increasing awareness of the resources available to survivors.
Through personal case management and action planning, The Landing intention is to meet people where they are—wherever it may be—and support them throughout their journey.
The Landing’s guiding principle is to give survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation a stabilizing base of support and dignity with the goal of engaging their hope and desire for a future of freedom.
I am happy that NAWIC Houston Chapter 3 and myself will be able to help this wonderful organization raising funds, so they can help more survivors of human trafficking.
Please contribute to our cause. Any amount would be great: $10 to $100 or other. THANK YOU for your contribution
