I'm a Shared Beat Scholarship student, Ophelia Maria Diaz Cumatzil. I am 24 years old. I am in the second year of my Nursing Career at the University. My studies are very important to me because through them I have managed to know new things I have also managed to help many people, but above all will help me fulfill a dream that is to become a professional nurse and I know that I will be an example to my community and my family.

Pulique is a traditional meal of my Pueblo San Martin Jilotepeque. It is food that is traditional for weddings, or special holidays like patron saint's fairs. It is a broth of chicken and beef, the broth is added a liquefied tomato, onion, dried chile, pepper and coriander, thickened with corn dough, a little achiote is added , It is accompanied by corn tamales.
