Katy Half Marathon 5K 1K

On February 2, I will participate in my very first 5K! I am not a runner but rather working on my health goals and am planning on walking the 5k. This 5k is perfect for me because not only am I working on my health goals I am also a current Education Foundation Grant recipient!
Last year I had the honor of receiving my very first Education Foundation Grant! I am a librarian at Bryant Elementary in Katy ISD. My grant is called #BOTSquad! The students at Bryant Elem now have access to a variety of BOTs to learn how to code, work on problem solving etc.
I am excited to be able to participate in these two wonderful events a 5K and a first time Education Foundation Grant Recipient.
