I have set a goal to run in the Katy Half Marathon relay and fundraise on behalf of the Katy ISD Education Foundation. The Katy ISD Education Foundation provides resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning, and enhance opportunities for students enrolled in Katy ISD by providing grants to teachers. Our Cinco Ranch High School Social Studies department received a grant from the Education Foundation for the 2019-2020 school year. As a result, we were able to purchase 24 breakout boxes and use them in multiple contents to engage students in critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration.
