The weekend of September 20th, I will be participating in the Run Houston event. This is my first time doing this event, and I’m so happy that I have a wonderful organization supporting me in reaching my goal. I have chosen to walk/run for Texas Children's Hopital. As many of you know, I was a patient at Texas Children's many years ago when I developed Wilm's Tumor. Anytime I needed to go in for chemo, bloodwork, etc. I was greeted with a smiling face, a book to read, or some other activity that distracted me from the real reason I was there. It was the staff that truly made the expierence the best it could be and for a five year old that had no idea what was going on, it meant the world. This is only possible through our support and donations!
