Together in Hope  provides pre-schools and educational support, livelihood training, including sewing centers and other job training opportunities, and nutritional and health support to children and families in squatter communities in the Philippines.  Through it's work, lives and communities are being transformed.  We need your help to keep that work going.  We also need your help to extend our work into areas devastated by Typhoon Haiyan in Visayas Philippines.  When the initial relief work ends, the work of long term recovery begins.  We need to help create jobs so that communities can re-establish themselves and families can rebuild their lives.  Together in Hope's model of empowering local communities to transform their lives with dignity and hope is designed for exactly this type of long-term recovery work.  With your help, we can make a difference!  Our goal is to raise $100,000 for our ongoing work in the Philippines and the extension of our work into devastated Visayas.  If 1000 people give $100, we will reach our goal.  Please support my race as one of those 1000.  If $100 is too much, give what you can - every dollar helps.  If you can give more, please do.  I run in hope with the prayer that every touch of my foot on the ground will bring change that gives life and a future to those in the Philippines living in desperate poverty.  Thank you in advance for your generous support.  Working, together in hope, we can put an end to poverty one child, one family, one community at a time.  Last year, in my first marathon ever, you helped me raise over $20,000.  Help me beat that amount this year.  I don't get paid anything - this is all for the work of Together in Hope.
